Intro To Makeup

1. Makeup Brushes -
To create a flawless and professional look brushes are a key factor. Make the investment in nice quality brushes. As long as you take care of the brushes they can last many, many years. You should add a foundation brush, eye shadow brush, blending brush, angled brush, powder brush, and a blush brush to your collection.
2. Face and Eye Primer -
Before you apply any foundation or makeup you should start with a primer. Primer helps foundation, blush, and eye shadow look
smoother and more even. Primer also helps your makeup stay on throughout the day. Primer on the eyes prevents creasing in eye shadow and makes the color more vibrant.
3. Foundation -
Foundation is a personal choice. Liquid foundation creates a flawless, blank canvas for your face. We recommend using a foundation brush to apply your foundation. Sponges soak up and waste liquid foundation while brushes apply it to your skin and create an even, flawless look. We have met many woman who don't like to use liquid foundation. For those woman, there are liquid to powder foundations and powder foundations available.
4. Powder -
Whether you use a liquid foundation or not a loose powder or a pressed powder should be part of your makeup routine. Powder evens out the skin, help with oil control and shine, and sets your makeup for the day.
5. Blush -
Choose a blush that matches your makeup style. Apply it to the apple of your cheeks and up toward your temples. Blush adds color and dimension to your face.
6. Eye Shadow -
Beginners should start with a neutral palette for an everyday look. Find a light matte color to use all over your lid, a medium neutral color for the corners, and a darker color for the crease.
7. Eye Liner -
Use a basic black eye liner. Make sure you apply your eye liner straight and even. There many tricks you can do with just a basic black eye liner such as smudging.
8. Mascara -
Use a black mascara. Never pump your wand in and out of the container. There is always plenty of mascara on the wand with one up and down movement. Apply your mascara in slow long strokes.
9. Lip Liner -
Find a nice neutral color lip liner. Lip liner helps prevent your lipstick from running into the little lines above your lips and also creates a nice sharp line
10. Lip Stick -
Lip stick adds the finishing touch to your makeup. A nice glossy lipstick adds a plumpy look to your lips and a little extra shine!
